UofA NICMOS Software

Software has been developed at the University of Arizona for the use of the NICMOS Instrument Development Team.  Others are welcome to use our software, but we cannot provide user support.

Newsletters:

This newsletter has been written to allow members of the NICMOS IDT keep track of developments in software. They are provided here in a PDF format. This version requires Acrobat 3.0 or better.

Quick Reference Card:

We have developed a quick reference card which lists information which is useful for those who might be processing NICMOS data.  We've included information on the UofA software, the format of the data received from STScI, as well as other information about the instrument.  LATEST QRC!

More Docs:

The folks at MIPS collected and expanded some of the documentation on IDP3.

FTP Site:

All of the software developed at the UofA is available via anonymous ftp at  ftp://nicmos.as.arizona.edu/pub/NICMOS/software .  The software is divided into categories based on the software type (analysis, calibration, etc.).  Each package located in it's own software.  Most of the software is written in  IDL  (a commercial package).
